Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone could tell me how much it would cost to send the Kana flashcards and the 3 volumes of the Kanji flashcards to the UK or if there is any place in the UK that stocks them? I've looked on a few sites like Amazon and eBay and there either not listed or there out of stock.

Thanks in advance for any help.

(p.s. Apologies if double posting is against the rules but I wasn't sure which was the correct section to post in.)

Hi, basically, if you add the items to your shopping cart, and proceed to checkout, you should be able to see how much the shipping will cost. If you have any other questions about shipping costs, however, feel free to contact our orders department from this page: http://www.whiterabbitpress.com/support/index.php

Thanks for replying Andres. I created an account and checked some prices and it says it will cost $24.80 (I assume it's US dollars this site deals in) to ship the Kana flashcards to the UK. That's around £13 according to an online Currency Converter. That is a fair price for a product which i've read many positive reviews on. I hope to place an order soon.

Once again thanks for your help.

Great. Thank you. That's right, by the way, the site does deal in US dollars.

$24.80 was the shipping cost for one box of Kana cards to the UK? That doesn't sound right. Please contact Tomoko for a quote via our Support site.

Hi Max. I think I’ll order the Kana first, work through that and then move onto the Kanji. The Kana cost $18.00 plus $6.80 for International One Week Expediated Shipping. That totals $24.80 which is still around £13. I noticed there is an audio companion for it aswell. How useful is it? I'd be willing to buy it if it would help me in the long run. If I do decide to buy it what would be the best way: either downloading it which means I don't have to wait for it to come in the mail or to pay an extra $4 and get the CD?

Also will I have to pay any import/airport tax? I know if you order items from the USA sometimes you get charged. I've never ordered anything from Japan before so have no idea whether I will or not.

Regarding the Kana Flashcards CD: it's designed to help with pronunciation. You can hear some samples on the site. Downloading should work if you'd prefer to save a few buck!

Regarding import tax: we ship to 60 countries and can't really keep up with all the laws and regulations for each country. If you're concered about it, it's best to contact your post office or Customs office. But I think books are duty free in the US and Japan, so they *might* be duty free in your country too

Books are import duty free in the United Kingdom. As always, this only applies if the parcel clealy itemises them as Books on the external packaging.

Thanks for replying modec. I'm sure WRP would state that on the package so customs would know. I've been waiting ages to place an order and hope to do so very soon.
