I just ordered Volume 1 of the Kanji Flashcards, and saw that there are sample cards in PDF format in the free downloads section. I was wondering if there is a CD that comes with the boxed flashcards that contains a PDF document with all of the flashcards on it.

The reason I am asking is that most of the time I don't think I'll be able to carry around hundreds of flashcards with me to study, and that I could use the PDFs on my laptop. Any info on this would be great.

I'd love to have a PDF like that, especally, if I could copy and paste the text in order to convert the data to my preferred vocabulary learning software (currently I am inputting everything by hand)... However, I think, there are too many people out there who do not respect intellectual property and I'm pretty sure, that you'd find illegal copies of the file in most japan-related internet forums in no time... sad.gif

I use a bare bones file for printing out my cards on plain paper.
I write the readings and compounds myself as I study.

I have just bought Max's card sets 1 and 2, but am committed to finishing Heisig before I start any JLPT specific prep!

I'm attaching the pdf. Let me know if it helps. Oops ... upload is limited to 500kb ... the file is about 4MB.
Uploaded to rapidshare -- http://rapidshare.com/files/104979463/heis...s_v0.1.pdf.html

warm regards,
Keishav

right...it took us 4 years and tens of thousands of dollars to create or vol 1 through 3 flashcard sets. If we release it in a format that people can easily copy-and-paste I might as well go get a job in a restaurant...

unfortunately too many downloaders see absolutely nothing wrong with piracy because "they can't afford it anyway" or "they are just a student" etc... not realizing that if producers can't make any money from their content then there will just be less good products available in the world...
