This compendium of Japanese grammar is the new bible of essential knowledge for intermediate students. It can be useful for two types of students: low-level intermediates who want to approach their studies in an in-depth way, or high-level intermediates who want to solidify their knowledge, review, and fill in any points of intermediate grammar they may have otherwise missed along the way.

The text is divided into 20 chapters. Each tackles a general grammar point. There is a pre-test, explanations, exercises along the way, and a final set of review exercises in each chapter. There are brief explanations in English, Chinese and Korean, but the book is mostly written in Japanese. This book is essential for anybody who is really serious about learning good Japanese.
