This book is excellent for those practicing for the JLPT 3kyuu. It includes two practice tests, but no real grammar/vocab explanations/exercises. There are charts and graphs included to help you figure out your 'jyakuten', so you know where to focus your studies. You are encouraged to take one test to know your 'starting point', then to study some and try to improve areas you are weak in--then take the second test. I felt it was a great way to prepare for the JLPT 3kyuu.
